AITA

Based on the subreddit ‘Am I the Asshole(5 stars on Goodreads)

ML generated new AITA dilemmas

This game wants everyone to have a conversation before judging people too harshly. They might be coming from a different place, they might not be informed, you might not have the whole picture - things are usually more grey than black and white. We want people to be less of a moral police and more empathetic

And aren’t we all a little more open to ideas - all sorts of ideas - under the influence?

How to play

#1 / Number of players: 5 or more (Two Defendants, the rest - Judge)

1. The Defendants pick up a AITA card and gets a minute to think of a context
2. The Defendants then contextualises the prompt in a not more than five sentences - one For it and one Against
3. Each Judge get one minute to probe each Defendant about the backstory
4. After all the Judges take a turn, they can discuss the event amongst each other but not revealing their answer
5. The Judges then at the count to three hold up their decision card

#2 / Number of players: 4 or more (One Defendant, the rest - Judge)

1. The Defendant picks up a AITA card and gets a minute to think of a context
2. The Defendant then contextualises the prompt in a not more than five sentences
3. Each Judge get one minute to probe the Defendant about the backstory
4. After all the Judges take a turn, they can discuss the event amongst each other but not revealing their answer
5. The Judges then at the count to three hold up their decision card

You want things to be grey

1. You win if you get more Maybes than AH or N-AH
2. Whichever judgment is the highest in number is the verdict
3. If there's a tie between AH and n-AH: It's a Maybe
4. You drink if it’s not a maybe
